My aunt Lynn

I recieved a phone call from my mother the other day and walked away from the call completely shocked.  My aunt Lynn has been suffering with liver cancer for many years. This week the doctors told her that they were no longer able to treat her and now the unevetable is just a matter of time.

Aunt Lynn is a wonderful lady and even though she has suffered with cancer for many years i don’t think many have ever heard her complain! She is so gracious in this difficult sittuation.  Please pray for her healing. We know that the Lord has healed many of cancer and now i ask that you pray that she can be added to this list!

Thanks for your prayers and i will try to keep you updated as i know more.

Peggy Arnold

Please pray for a friend of ours named Peggy Arnold.  She has bone cancer.  A few weeks ago she broke her hip and unfortunatly the hospital are unable to help repair it as the cancer has caused so much damage to her bones.

Peggy’s husband ownes the company that Aaron and Luke (his brother) did their training with.

Please pray for their whole family through this situation.

A week later…..

Last Wednesday Caleb and Eden both returned to school after having a great break from the daily routine over the summer.  Nathan has had to wait…. now….. he will start tomorrow!!!  He is really excited and looking forward to catching up with many of his friends.  He has asked on a daily basis…. can i wear my uniform?  When can i start my big class?  When can i take a lunch box to school?  So….. tomorrow is the day.

Please pray for Nathan as he starts his full days.  It can seem like a lot at the begining and when the excitement wears off the fatigue will set in….. !!

The return of the uniform!

Well, it is that time of year again!  The kids are all excited to get back to school and catch up with all of their classmates.  Caleb will be going into year 4, actually he will have the same teacher he had in year 2!!!  We are all excited because she and Caleb really got on well and she turned out to be a great teacher!! Eden will be going into year 2.  We are not sure what to expect of her teacher as she is new to our school and we won’t get a chance to meet her untill the first day!  Nathan will be starting reception… for those of you not in the UK this means he will be attending school all day, five days a week.  He seems to be really excited about it and loves the fact that he will have the same teacher Eden had when she was in reception.  He will have to wait a week longer then the big kids to get back but he is very excited about the idea of taking a lunch to school!!!

(we will post photo’s of the kids first day back once they have started!!)

And so it begins…. again!!!!

Yesterday Aaron went to the airport to pick up a group of new students joining us for the next term (their stays vary between 3 mo & 2 years).  We are excited to see new people arrive with such excitment for the ministry here.  Please pray for all of them to settle in well and home-sickness not to be an issue.

The kids have enjoyed there last week off school and now they only have a couple of more days untill they return to the daily grind…..  Sept 5th both Caleb and Eden return,  Nathan doesn’t go back untill Sept 12th!!   They are all looking forward to it!
