The Lady Elizabeth

This evening i had the wonderful opportunity of escape off to Hampton Court Palace to hear the historian Alison Weir speak on her new (historically based) novel call The Lady Elizabeth.  She was actually very captivating, the book is written from the point of queen Elizabeth being a child and the issues she deals with as she grows up.  It sounded very interesting, i think you should all run to your local library and request a copy.

Spring Holidays

As April has quickly approached and is flying by we are in the middle of the spring school break.  The kids get two weeks off, we are now in the middle of the second week.  They are all really enjoying having time to go to the park, play in their room and generally relax.  This school break always come at a much needed time.

Life is keeping us all pretty busy,  Aaron has had to work through the kids holidays, He will be away for the whole summer so can’t really take extra days.   We have booked our flights and will be spending our summer (5 weeks) in Canada and the USA.  We are excited, it is always great to go back and visit family and friends. We will be contacting some of you about visiting as we drive around in the nearish future.

Aaron’s work is going well and we are looking forward to some new helpers arriving soon… actually one arrives tomorrow and another next week.  Please keep all of the guys and their safety in your prayers as they do the building works.

Oh…… it’s time to run as the kids are needing some attention… another fun aspect of the school holidays.
