Well, it seems like the weeks are flying past and i am not sure where they have all gone.   This week the kids are off school and we are enjoying every minute of it.  It is always a great break to have a change from the normal schedule. 

 This Week we are looking forward to celebrating Auntie Tina’s 22nd birthday!!!  Auntie Tina is Aaron’s youngest sister and it is shocking that she is already 22!! and in her last year of University training to be a teacher.  

 It seems like our family is still expanding in new and exciting ways….. We are anticipating the arrival of another niece or nephew in August!!  Joy (Aaron’s sister) and her husband Francois will be expecting their first child mid August.  We are very excited and would value your prayers for mother and baby’s safety and health.

Maya our youngest neice in France continue’s to improve but, is still not at 100% so please do not forget to pray for them.  Having her “hospitalized at home” is not easy on the family and takes a lot of work.  Please pray for all of them to get the rest they need and wisdom for the doctors dealing with Maya’s case.  (Maya is the daughter of Ger & Phoenicia VanVeen).

Well, we are already in the throws of yet another school holiday!!!  We are having a great time and thankful for these continual breaks in the regular schedule.

On Monday we went to Whipsnade Zoo (compliments of AirMiles).  It was great to get out into some open space where the kids could run around and play and not have the normal concerns of cars, noise and such!!  Some friends of ours came with us whose twins were turning 3 the next day so that was a special treat to share something special with them for their birthday!!

Wednesday we will be having our first ICE HOCKEY lesson, the kids have been doing street hockey with a group on Saturday mornings but, ice hockey is just not common here.  We were very excited to find a hockey skills class starting relativly near to us.  The kids have all skated before and can do some competently and they all enjoy playing hockey….. but, they are not used to doing the two together!!  It should be fun to watch.  I will put pictures up on the website once we have them.

The kids are actually just enjoying being around the house and not having to rush out to school.  Yesterday they spent 2 hours playing in their room and then Nathan and Eden spent another 2 hours painting!!  We now have many beautiful materpieces around the house!

Well, as you can guess by the title we stayed up to watch the superbowl.  With the time difference, it was on until 3am.  Completely worth it with the way the 4th quarter went!!! I (Eileen) was rooting for the steelers so…. was very pleased….
