Last week we all scooted off to the Isle of Wight for a family vacation camping with some friends. Having never been there and hearing mixed reviews we didn’t really know what to expect. Wanting to get every last minute of holiday time we left the house at 3am to catch the 5am ferry. We arrived so early at the campsite we had to wait a while to set up so not to start off on the wrong foot with our new neighbours.
The weather all week was beautiful and we all had loads of fun. We did a couple of walks, one up the backside of the needles and the other to St.Catherine’s lighthouse. Both beautiful and both completely worth it. We also had many afternoons at the beach, who would have known we were still in the UK with such great weather and wonderful beach’s.
